Menesix is a house music DJ & Producer born in Brazil in the 90s. He is currently based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Davi Menesix started producing in 2015 at Cruise Control Studios in Amsterdam. During that time he learned a lot about the world of production. His music is known for featuring a combination of funky basslines and percussive grooves inspired by the rhythm and instruments of his homeland «Brazil».

At the beginning of 2017, Menesix created his own record label called OVRDOSE Records and later his sister label OVRDOSE Deep. After a series of podcasts, he started releasing tracks from artists such as DJOKO, Calabasa, Deeper Purpose, Kreature and many other artists from the global underground scene.

Today OVRDOSE Records and OVRDOSE Deep have over 30 releases each, presenting a select catalogue of cutting edge music. Which has received support from names in the scene such as elrow, Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Archie Hamilton, Rossi, Dimmish, Josh Butler, Reelow, Toman, Michel De Hey, Sidney Charles, Tim Baresko, Dennis Quin, Mark Knight, Golfclap, among others.

Menesix apart from being a label boss, is also a nonstop producer with many EPs full of colourful grooves on some of the best record labels of the moment. Whoyostro LDT, Glasgow, Laguna Records, Rawsome Deep, Mea Culpa, Nervous Records and Elrow Music are just some of his EPs released to date.

Highlighting his most recent self-released single on Bandcamp called Jump On It. A production consolidated as a sonic gem of House that transports us almost immediately to that golden era of the 80s where funk and soul were the air we breathed.

Playful, funkylicious,, contagious vocals, with that analogue and organic sound that bring a lot of dynamism and warmth to the production.
