The Spanish label Play Groove Recordings is unstoppable, bringing out releases with renowned artists and new rising talents; with 197 releases so far, they welcome the young Chilean artist Astre, who is leading the release of the My Groove EP.

The Chilean producer keeps on making electronic gems to make us dance, and after signing 03 singles in May for the labels Spiritualized, Swerve Digital and Rendr Records; he returns to be part of the Play Groove Recordings family and release a solo EP with 02 distinguished cuts of Minimal and Deep Tech.

Astre – My Groove

The title track is a serious bomb loaded with plenty of rhythm and melody; in which the young producer highlights a vibrant bassline in the presence of a sharp and bouncy set of hit-hats and cymbals that takes control of the production. From start to finish is an elegant, modern and powerful cut of Minimal and Deep Tech.

Astre – Siente el Funk

Then we have the second and last cut of the EP called Siente el Funk, where the artist Astre gives us a refined cut with sounds alluding to the title of the song. A funky, deep production with enveloping basslines that are softened by rhythmic vocals and melodies from keyboards and synthesizers

Without a doubt, Play Groove Recordings’ 197th release, entitled My Groove EP by Astre; brings together 02 select tracks full of power, enveloping melodies and rhythmic vocals to the fullest. A great EP in which the Chilean artist imprints his particular magic and rhythmic skills; which we are pretty sure we will be dancing to many times.
