Basic 96 is an electronic music producer from Rouen. He is a resident member of the EDEN collective as well as Les Vagues Electro and founder of Rétropolis.
With grooves and rhythmic textures that move between atmospheres and avant-garde soundscapes. He is an artist who likes to capture harmonies and Minimal, Deep House and Deep Tech drums in his productions.
In his career he has signed releases on major labels such as Conceptual Records, Misplaced Records, Glukoz Records, Simplexia Records, Sounds Of Hotwire, Symbiotical Records, Odd Places, among others. Now, the Rouen producer signs the brilliant release Radiant EP, which compiles two original tracks on the French label 44km/h Records.
Radiant EP starts with the cut Magestic. In this production, the Frenchman prints a catchy groove loaded with avant-garde soundscapes, powerful minimalist beats and eclectic atmospheres. With subtle pads and harmonies, it’s a track with an elegant construction that provides a futuristic sound aesthetic for the dancefloor.
In the 2nd and last cut of the EP, we find Delight. Basic 96 features syncopated drums, catchy rhythms and a bassline that marks a strong protagonism within the cut.
