German artist BENNY DELARA releases the futuristic EXPLORER EP, under the catalog 216 of the Spanish label Play Groove Recordings.
Benny Delara comes from a family of artists with close ties to club culture. Before starting to produce minimal house music, he was the lead singer of a band with which he could achieve some early successes. Since 2014 he has firmly committed himself to electronic music and has since explored the vastness of almost all music cultures in search of inspiration for his signature sound.
The German is an artist which is strongly influenced by psychedelic rock from the 60s, the synth sound of the 80s and the hip hop and grunge sound of the 90s.With EPs on labels like Maqa, Groovebox and Whoyostro to name a few, Benny Delara now debuts the solo release Explorer EP on the Spanish label. 03 minimalist gems loaded with cinematic moods, uplifting rhythms and melodies that elevate our senses to sci fi settings.
The EP starts with the Blade Walker cut, as a reference to the classic sci-fi film Blade Runner. A production that places us in a retro futuristic atmosphere full of intelligent minimalist rhythms and cutting edge synthesizers.
It is followed by the relaxing and fresh cut Explorer, where Benny Delara emanates avant garde rhythms, uplifting harmonies and a totally addictive groove. Closing the EP is the track CXY, where the German artist immerses us in a groove dominated by sweet melodies, hypnotic rhythms and cinematic vocals from an undiscovered future. With a funky essence with small acid sparks in the bassline, it’s a perfect cut for those peak times of the set.
