Proper Musique presents its latest release number 53 «Girls/Boys», which will be available on July 1st.


The Belgium based House record label, Proper Musique, was founded in 2015 by Arno Stolz in Antwerp.

Quality Underground House made by the best artists with unique musical styles … because we all need a proper groove.

As for Girls/Boys EP, it’s composed of 2 tracks by Mesquitas, plus remixes by Steve Hope and David Jach.


Mesquitas brings us 2 solid pieces «Boys & Girls», produced in his studio, located in Linz, Austria.

Both tracks radiate such a magical energy making them capable of conquering any part of the world.


The first track «Boys» gives form to a piece rich in Tech House character, with plenty of rhythm and energy in its drums and percussion, accompanied by looped vocals during the whole track, transporting us to a hypnotic climax.


Mesquitas with «Girls» presents a different proposal with much more Groove, loops of female voices and bass with a funky wave in its tone, resulting in a cool, fun track with a lot of personality.


As for the first remix of the EP, comes from another Dj and Producer from Austria, called Steve Hope.

Steve recently released his first EP on the label «Kitball Imprint», where he reached the 6th position on the Beatport Indie/dance Charts!

In this remix he brings us a version of «Girls» with sublime production quality, a clear example of the current Deep-House sound, where he experiments with the textures and the panning of the voices, achieving a very interesting auditory dynamic.


The second remix belongs to the German DJ/Producer David Jach, where he presents a version with dirty and eclectic beats of «Girls».

With more than 15 years of career, he is a faithful representative of the House and Minimal genre, with releases on important labels such as Get Physical, Upon You and Moon Harbour.

This remix presents a predominant Minimal sound, where glitches, delays, and reverberations define the analogue finish of the song.
