Freakcisco unveils its new release «Maya EP»

Maya EP is the new release of the Barcelona-based Venezuelan artist Freakcisco, released on Dialtone Tales record label. This EP compiles 2 original tracks plus 3 remixes by Mazayr, The Note V and SEVN (CA).

After a few months of hard work in the studio, Freakcisco is finally back with a completely revamped EP inspired by the ethnic and organic sounds of the Middle East.

Dialtone Tales is the sister label of Dialtones Records, founded by the duo Noble Spirits. Focused mainly on organic downtempo and Afrohouse.

Influenced by the new trends of the organic house genre, Freakcisco experiments with warmer textures and sounds while implementing analog and digital synthesizers. Maya EP counts with the participation of 3 artists/producers who have completed this EP with 5 tracks, all sharing the same electronic line and keeping the essence of the original versions. 

The EP starts with the track Maya. In this production Freakcisco takes us to an ethnic universe of Middle Eastern rhythms and melodies. Progressive, slow burning, an immersive song in a cinematic of transcendental ambiences.

On the 2nd cut, we find Maya’s Mazayr remix. In this version, the Manchester-based producer presents a mix of emotional, uplifting and melancholic melodies, intertwined with solid and powerful beats.

Halfway through the reference, we find the remix of SEVN (CA). A version that focuses on an organic, deep and progressive sound. Likewise, this version achieves a spiritual awakening through ethnic grooves.

In the 4th cut of the EP, Freakcisco delivers Flying Out. With darker and nostalgic tones, the Barcelona-based producer introduces instrumentation and Arabic vocals that create a unique oneiric momentum.

To close Maya EP, we have the remix of The Note V of Flying Out. The Mexican producer makes a track with a lot of movement and colorful percussions, but keeping the essence of the original cut. This track narrates a story through its sounds, leading an electronic voyage from start to finish.
