MIRA Digital Arts Festival – Barcelona 2022

MIRA is an international digital arts festival with audiovisual shows, 360º fulldome experiences, exhibitions and DJ sets.

The Barcelona festival will celebrate its XI edition on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th November. As a novelty, MIRA changes its location and for the first time will be held at the Fira de Montjuïc, the large venue located in the center of Barcelona.

MIRA will expand its spaces, timetables and line-up of artists, offering more than 13 hours of activities, until 5:30 in the morning. Recovering all the formats that have defined the festival since its 1st edition: audiovisual shows, live bands, large format art installations, 360° projections in the MIRA Dome by Bershka and DJ sets.

The digital arts festival of Barcelona has unveiled its final lineup with the addition of Orbital. British duo and leading figure in the electronic music scene of the 90s.

They are responsible for some of the most innovative and iconic songs of their genre. They will perform their new album «30 Something» in a spectacular audiovisual show to celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary.

In addition, there will be DJ sets by Special Request and DJ Mell G, a live performance by DJ Danifox and an audiovisual show by Dania x Valentina Alvarado Mato.

These artists are added to those already confirmed to the line-up: The audiovisual live of Squarepusher. IDM legends Voices From The Lake will present their latest album. Clark, who will perform his acclaimed album «Body Riddle«. Michael Rother will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his legendary band «NEU !«. Alva Noto, Caterina Barbieri and Kali Malone will present their latest works. Blawan with Bernhard Holaschke. The MIRA curated show by Loraine James and visual artist Alessandra Leone. And the return of Bogdan Raczynski after 15 years.

On the other hand, MIRA Digital Arts Festival 2022 will feature the presentation of the new album by KMRU and Aho Ssan, which connects soundscapes with «cyberpunk«. Phase Fatale and Pablo Bozzi with «Soft Crash«, the perfect mix between techno and italo. The Creole experimentation of Animistic Beliefs. The return of Moin, with the drummer Valentina Magaletti, the new ambient album by producer Keith Fullerton Whitman and many more presentations.
