The German company Native Instruments, which specializes in DJ and music production software and hardware, is launching a subscription-based version of its popular DJ program Traktor Pro.

The new subscription version, Traktor Pro Plus, will cost $4.99 per month or $49 per year and will give you full access to Traktor. As well as several additional features exclusive to subscribers. Such as the inclusion of iZotope’s Ozone Maximizer, the Traktor Pattern Player, which is basically a sequencer for drum samples and 3 months of Beatport Streaming as part of an early subscription deal.

Though you aren’t forced to subscribe, NI says that subscribers will «receive 3 to 4 new features each year» that non-subscribers will not be able to access. They also mention that they will release major «paid» updates that will consolidate these new features periodically, so non-subscribers will have access to them eventually.

The integration of iZotopes Ozone Maximizer is an interesting move considering the founding of the consolidated parent company Soundwide in early 2022. It’s quite possible that more tools from the Soundwide family, which includes Brainworx, Plugin Alliance, iZotope and NI, will be added in the near future.

Traktor Pro Plus is only available to existing Pro license holders. You cannot access Plus unless you already have Traktor Pro.

Once activated, you can use the TRAKTOR PRO Plus features offline. Make sure to log into Native Access 2 after your monthly/yearly payment is due so that your PRO Plus features are up to date

Lastly, at Valetronic, we recommend you to visit the Native intruments website, to get more info about Traktor Pro Plus.
