Launched in March 2010, Snatch! Records is Riva Starr’s first label with the aim to push new talents and well-established forward thinking producers through a carefully curated collection of slamming house cuts. Over the years the Snatch! family has expanded to include a sister label, Snatch! OFF and a management company looking after the in-house producers.
Now for the 57th release of Snatch! OFF; the UK label gives a big welcome to the legendary artists Neverdogs and Sebastian Ledher in collaboration with singer Spencer Kennedy. That after their 02 successful releases “Tremenda Chimba EP” and “Dos” for Play Groove Recordings and the single “Sumbae” that came out on Deeperfect, Variety and Voltaire Music labels; they are back to release 02 Minimal sonic bombs at 128 bpm.
The first cut Wednesday by Neverdogs feat. Spencer Kennedy, is a progressive, hypnotic production, full of rhythm and strong character. With dark enveloping basslines, resonant acid riffs and rapped vocal samples, it’s definitely an edgy, hype-filled cut that’s perfect for the club.
For the 2nd and last cut of the EP, we have the song Creamy by Neverdogs with Sebastian Ledher, where they deliver an elegant and sublime production with a lot of emotion for the club. It is a groovy, melodic and funky tune that is softened by the great voice of Spencer Kennedy, perfect for those first hours.
The release of Snatch! OFF 057 by Neverdogs, Sebastian Ledher and Spencer Kennedy, took place on July 17th exclusively on Beatport.
To sum up, the UK Snatch! Records premieres a release that brings together 04 great artists to give us an EP composed of two tracks that experience both sides of the electronic music. Wednesday exhales an intriguing dark hypnotic groove, while Creamy; is a production with a more upbeat and elegant intonation. A totally recommended release without any waste.
