Morir Soñando is a label based in the Dominican Republic, dedicated to the promotion of local music and the introduction of new talent to the country’s music scene.

The typical Dominican drink, Morir Soñando, is a refreshing blend of orange juice and milk, which serves as inspiration for the concept imposed by this innovative Caribbean label since its start in 2023.
With three releases to date in various artist format, the Dominican label has more than 33 artists from the local scene on its roster, as well as several names from the international scene that need no introduction.
In the latest Morir Soñando’s various artists vol. 2, we find four must-have gems for electronic music lovers that celebrate the unique sound of the Caribbean.
To kick off the VA, we have the track Crowd Vampire by Angelo Cortines. In this refreshing production, the Barcelona artist presents a solid minimalist groove, to which he adds a hypnotizing melody with a post-punk inspired aesthetic and acidic resonant textures that complement the climax of the track.
In the 2nd cut of the EP, we meet Elixir by Karl Reyes and Null (DR). A slow burning track, full of elegant nuances, dreamy pads and small acid flashes. Ideal track to harmonize those first hours of dancing.
We have arrived at Freya’s Muffin by Jo.an Julian. Brilliant production that borders between the mystical and the surreal, in a track where melodies and synthesizers are the main stars. The Dominican producer takes his time to prepare us for a sensorial voyage where every sound is a delight to listen to.
To complete the second VA of Morir Soñando, is Jordy Sanchez‘s track Glory. As in the previous cut, melodies play a fundamental role in the production, but this time, with a more club-oriented approach. Jordy experiments with pulsating drums, infectious basslines and percussions that lead to a production with organic dynamics.
