In this 4th note of record labels that can’t miss in your playlists, we’ll recommend Yet! Records and Finnest Music.
Yet! Records is a transatlantic label founded in 2018 by artists Sergio Parrado and Jee Bear. A label that after 42 releases, 3 various artists’ albums and one collection, have connected America and Europe through the roots and influences of electronic music.
This 2023 Yet! Records kicks off strong with Bealty’s Grinder EP, and it’s pure fire! The lead cut Grinder features a very peculiar snare with a house touch and a groovy bassline. Accompanied by stabs that announce the arrival of the kick at every drop.
The second and last cut ‘Piany’ has a strength worthy of the gods. The groove fills you and makes you dance non-stop. With touches of Chicago, this track is one of the most complete of the catalog so far. The soundscapes it brings are wonderful and the guitar stab, simply goes beyond.
Now, Finnest Music is a label founded by the dj and producer Sergio Bennet. Whose main objective is to offer two different aspects with a common denominator as a genre, ‘Minimal‘.
On the one hand we’ll be able to enjoy its UNDERGROUND SERIES division, where we’ll find a deeper Minimal. And on the other hand its GROOVE SERIES division, where they offer the best of minimal house music.
In its graphic side, the label also shows two faces, the Black range for its UNDER division and the White range for its GROOVE division, with plants, flowers and birds as a link.
The idea is to unite both genres to make the label a home for all ‘Minimal’ lovers globally.
Among their first 9 EPs that have been published, we can appreciate music from artists such as Sascha Dive, Andre Buljat & C.I.S.C.O, Oliver Robles & Pablo Hdez, Philipp Lichtblau or Kevin Deep. Highlighting the most recent Vibes release by the Dominican producer Ariado AP. Reference that joins 2 original tracks filled with hypnotic grooves, pads, layers of effects and powerful dynamics.
