Querry Veldt, also known as Querijn van Bijsterveldt, is a Minimal House DJ/producer based in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Querijn has been making music since the tender age of 12 and since the age of 15 has been very active in the Drum & Bass scene under the name of ‘Leniz’.
When the lockdown hit, Querry had a massive writers block on Drum & Bass. This led him to experiment with other genres, including the House music.
Since 2020 he has been creating house music, but it was a year later, in 2021, when he decided to create an alias for it. Coming from a Drum & bass production background, Querry Veldet has focused his sound on producing moody pads, funky melodies and rough toned drums. Looking to create a consistent vibe no matter what genre he produces.
His first release Damn Girl EP, was released on the English label Hotwire. An EP that was received very well by the public, which set a bright tone for what’s to come from this young Dutch artist.
