Barcelona-based Tenerife artist VanLah, premieres the reference Looking At The Sky EP, which includes 2 original tracks plus a brilliant remix by Luke Hazell.
Born in the dreamy Tenerife, Ivan Romero AKA VanLah is an artist driven by his passion for electronic music, inspired by tech-house and deep minimal sounds.
To date, VanLah has major releases on labels such as Whoyostro White, LowerHand, OutCast Music, Strange Storie Records, NOPRESET Limited, Reverbs Records, Duff Music, etc. Now the Spaniard is part of the family of the argentinian label Zet Music with his recent release Look At The Sky EP.
The EP opens with the minimalist gem Locksmith. A track with a solid groove, in which VanLah adds resonant enveloping bass lines with a lot of movement. Pads, melodies and piano stabs that add a colorful and hypnotic panorama all at once.
It follows the track Looking At The Sky, where the Tenerife native delivers an infectious groove full of power. A cut that brings together glitchy textures, bright melodies and syncopated drums in total harmony. Loaded with futuristic soundscapes and an elegant aesthetic, it is an ideal track for the peak-time of the set.
To close the EP, we have the brilliant remix by Luke Hazell of Looking At The Sky. From Yorkshire, the Englishman Luke delivers a totally hypnotic top version. Rhythms and melodies that seduce the senses in the company of immersive vocals. Groovy, full of life, a perfect cut for those first dancing hours.
