Energy 52‘s legendary anthem Café Del Mar will have a new series of exclusive remasters and remixes on 12″ vinyl for its “30th anniversary” in 2023.
Incredible as it may seem, in 2023, the mythical electronic music anthem will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Named as a tribute to Ibiza’s legendary sunset spot, Paul M aka Dj Kid Paul created Café Del Mar. Unleashing a hybrid between styles that would shape the club culture. Track that would break the boundaries between underground and mainstream sound.
Now, three decades after its release, Superstition Records. Will celebrate this Trance milestone with the release of a series of new remixes and remastered versions of some of his best remixes.
The Café Del Mar vinyl release series will see the first installment of the series this September 23rd. Including remastered versions of the original mix and the popular Three’N One remix.

This is not the first time the famous song has been remixed or celebrated with a special anniversary edition. In 2017, the label Superstition Records released a collection “The Best Of” compiling 22 remixes of Café Del Mar. In 2018, Tales of Us made a 25th anniversary remix. And Paul Van Dyk delivered his remix of the classic hit last year.
